French Private Residence

We transformed the French’s home into a family friendly haven. In the living room deep greys, pops of turquoise and yellow make a balanced and fresh combination . Keeping the space family friendly was easy when we paired these cozy sofas with the bright teal armchairs. The modern fixtures completed the living room space without taking away from the expansive windows that provide natural light and a scenic view.

The kitchen is the hub of the French’s home. Somewhere to entertain friends and family and to create memories. We kept things simple, bright and high end with white cabinets, grey marble countertops, and a coordinating backsplash. Lighting, as always, was key to showcasing the cabinets and open space. Check out the in-drawer drink fridge and double ovens, an entertainers dream!

The bathroom needed to be a place to get away, minimalist for the mind and relaxing for the body. This giant soaker tub has a dream view and the double deep sinks are friendly for this family of four and the piece de resistance waterfall shower brings the spa home. The French family was not afraid to be playful and take risks with this space, it was such a pleasure to design!

White Room Challenge

Being part of the Home & Cabin White Room Challenge was a unique experience! There are so many versions of “white” that it was incredibly fun to work on. Slightly off-white furniture pieces paired with a brighter white wall colour which made the space still feel warm and inviting. Black accessories, paired with grey tones helped add depth to the space and texture was everything when it came time to complete this look. We think it can be challenging to make a white room liveable, but as you can see, we did just that.

Paradise Private Residence

Black, white, and natural finishes… so good! These super dark cabinets were uber modern and fresh so they certainly make the stainless steel appliances pop. This lighting fixture is my fave and the showstopper of the space. We wanted to draw attention to the sky-high ceilings and we added more wood elements to play off the black and whites and soften up the vibe.

Kirby Private Residence

I get so much inspiration from my own home so I love being surrounded by my favourite things! As you can see, the proper use of rich colours, bold patterns and modern accents are my jam. Mixing and matching traditional elements with new architecture gives a space a certain uniqueness that is not the same in two spaces. The use of natural light is so important in any space; when designing you must think of how the area will look at any point in the day.

I wanted to keep things modern yet livable in the kitchen and bathroom. This large glass shower and stand-alone soaker tub created this chic aesthetic that is exactly what my heart desired.
